I think Cookie! is a successful layout for a first version. Like I said in the main page Happy End is my very first web experience so I chose a simple topic and made a simple layout. However it wasn't easy. Making the layout was easy but getting the idea and visualizing the layout in my mind took time. I tried countless things before coming to this layout. The cookie image on the layout is from the Super S movie. Yes, Chibiusa's delicious cookie! ^.^ Of course I retouched it a bit. Usually cookies are shaped like a triangle, heart, star...etc. So I used those shapes on the navigation and the background. Pink is my favorite color. But I didn't want to make a hot pink layout because it really disturbs my eyes after a while. So I picked this reddish pink. I think I'll continue to make layouts with simple images for a while ^.^ I'm sorry if the .gif images take too much time to load but .jpg images look horrible. I still haven't figured out how to make good layouts with .jpg images ^^;; If you know. Please tell me.

I made this cute Winamp skin for this version of Happy End. I will probably make more desktop downloads not only featuring the current layout but with the images I like. You'll find Winamp skins more often than wallpapers, because believe it or not I find making wallpapers harder than making Winamp skins ^.^

Comments:This is my first skin without the equalizer and playlist. The mess of the background consists of the swirls of the main and splash page layouts. Like I do in almost all of my skins I hid the equalizer/playlist button, shuffle/repeat button and mono/stereo part. I don't use them and I didn't want any writings on the cookie. Sorry ^^;; But this skin does have avs.bmp ^.^

I'm a newbie and my site is really small but I've started to win awards! Yay! Thank you to all these wonderful people ^.^ You can view the awards here (pop-up)
